With the mass extinction of books imminent, these plaster books lay testament to the Golden Days of Literature. ‘Faded with Time’, the books stand as monuments of what was – like fragments of Greek Sculpture. The Spook Books, as some people have called them, make attractive bookends as well as simple objects of Beauty for thought-provoking Tablescapes. I’m particularly fond of placing them amidst the spines of colourful Tomes on a generous bookshelf; the contrast is fantastic.
