Poicephalus (lets make it) robustus (again)

New Friend and Fabric man David Bellamy kindly asked me to create a unique piece for an exhibition which aims to raise awareness and funds for the protection and survival of the Cape Parrot (Poicephalus robustus). Being Avian obsessed and mad about Blue & White ceramics, I was very excited to help David with a VOC-inspired piece. The traditional Ho-Ho birds have been replaced with a pair of Cape parrots. This large charger will be sold along with other items at a soon-to-be-announced exhibition. Please contact David Bellamy for more information on this worthwhile cause.
